Hey teaching friends! I know so many of you are just wrapping up the school year, while there are still several who have over a month to go. How about a fun educational games giveaway to celebrate the end of the year? OH YEAH! My good friends at Educational Insights have hooked us up with an awesome prize pack of TWO fabulous games! One lucky person will win this bundle set. Sweet.
First up is Blurt! I adore this game because it builds vocabulary – and we all know vocabulary is where it is at! I can even see students playing the first half of the year, and then perhaps making your own science, social studies, or math versions of the game using the same rules and steps. Sneaky, sneaky. I love how they are learning and having fun at the same time. Indoor recess in January? No problem! Grab Blurt! and your class will be doing something fun while learning at the same time.
The second half of this prize pack is Kanoodle Extreme. For those of you (like me) who love the original Kanoodle game, you are going to flip over this one! It has 2-D and 3-D puzzles to figure out and I can tell you from my experience that some of those puzzles are TOUGH! Plus, being that when it comes to perception puzzles, I am at a disadvantage. The great part is that I can practice that type of thinking while playing a fun game. Use this game for your early finishers – who have turned in neat and completed work. I bet even some of your speedracer workers will slow down enough to make sure their paper is legible and accurate before turning in so they get the chance to quietly work with this learning activity.
