Hello! It’s Hilary from Second Grade is Out of This World guest blogging today at the OC Blog!
I don’t know about you, but I never have enough wall space in my room.
I do have some wonderful windows!
But only a few bulletin boards.
So, I came up with an idea to use the window space to hang things like anchor charts!
All you need are a couple of command hooks, a dowel rod, some binder clips and a chart!
First, I put a command hook on either side of the window (lining them up was the hardest part).
Then, I put a dowel rod on the two hooks.
Next, I used the binder clips to hang up my chart!
If you use the smaller chart paper, you could probably hang two.
I hope you find this idea useful! It could be used almost anywhere you need extra hanging space. (I am not sure how well it would work with something heavier like a pocket chart though, maybe if you used bigger hooks and a bigger dowel rod).
