This section is for class sizes of 18-19 students. While all the photos show options for 18 students, feel free to place an additional student on the end of one of groups, if needed.
Getting a new outlook in the classroom every so often is vital in keeping a fresh perspective on learning. With this desk arrangement, students are all facing different directions with many different vantage points.

What grade would you use these seating plans with? I teach grade 3 right now and normally teach grade 2.
Hi Erin! I would say it would work for any grade, but you know your students better than anyone to know if this arrangement would work. Just consider if you have a lot of talkers or behavior issues or other sensory needs that might be challenging for this seating option. You can always try it for a week and if it doesn’t work, swap it out with something else.
